August 19th was National Potato Day…That’s something to celebrate! Potatoes are not only yummy they’re good for you. They contain high levels of vitamins and minerals, such as vitamin C, potassium and iron.
So popular, more than 45 billion pounds of potatoes are harvested in the U.S. each year! They’re yummy baked, mashed, roasted, steamed, made into home fries or French fries—The possibilities are endless!
