I’m so excited to share with all of you the great news…The re-launch of Skinny Kitchen! Check out the brand-new look and wonderful new features. It’s still a work in progress and I’ll be adding many other features but it is now hugely easier to use. Thanks to many of your comments and suggestions, I’ve taken your feedback into account and have made several great improvements.
Here are some of the new features that I’m most excited about:
New design: The new design is more modern and user-friendly. It’s also easier to navigate, with a clear menu and search bar.
Mobile-friendly: The new site is fully mobile-friendly, so users can access your recipes on the go.
Improved search: The new search engine is more powerful and accurate, making it easier to find the recipes you’re looking for.
Recipe filtering: You can now filter recipes by category, dietary restrictions, and more.
Now, there are two ways you can print your favorite recipes! One button lives at the top of each recipe page, as well as at the top of each recipe card. Simply click one of these buttons to open the printable page – now simplified to print on one sheet!
You can adjust the text size, and serving amount, and decide whether or not you want the nutritional information included. From there, you can click the print button, or email the link for the print page!
Jump to Recipe:
An easy way to jump right to the nitty-gritty. A convenient “Jump to Recipe” button is located at the top of each recipe page. Click the button to take you straight to the recipe card so you can get cooking!
Jump to Comments:
I love reading all of your comments and getting your feedback! After you’ve tried my recipes, click the “Let me know” link at the bottom of the recipe card to take you to the comment section. And, if you leave me a comment, I’ll definitely answer you back. Don’t forget to leave a rating, too!
Now, you can easily change the recipe card ingredients to reflect the number of servings you want to make! Use the 1x, 2x, or 3x buttons in the Ingredients section of the recipe card to quickly increase the amount of servings. Or, if you want more control over the serving amount, hover over the serving number at the top of the recipe card to display a serving amount slider!
Pin a Recipe:
You can still pin and share my recipes! The share buttons are located at the top of each recipe page. You can also pin a recipe by hovering over its image, or clicking the “Pin Recipe” button located at the top of the recipe card!
We all want to know the nutritional details of the recipes we make. Each of my recipes includes the nutrition information in two convenient locations; in my Skinny Facts box and at the bottom of the recipe cards! This information can also be included when printing recipes!
I would love your feedback on the new site! I enjoy reading all of your comments.
Thank you so much for joining me on Skinny Kitchen!
