Helpful Tips About this Recipe

Food Facts
Mocha was one of the original Frappuccino® blended drink flavors Starbucks introduced in 1995.

Prep Tips

Make double-strength regular or decaf coffee by brewing with twice the coffee required by your coffee maker.  Use 2 tablespoons of ground coffee per each cup of coffee.  Chill for 10 minutes in the freezer, before using.  Keep extra on hand in the refrigerator for another drink.

Ingredients for Topping:

  • ¼ cup fat-free whipped cream (I used Redi-whip)

Tried this recipe?Let me know how it was!

  1. Tried this and liked it. Used Godiva chocolate caramel pudding mix. I think I’ll add some extra coffee or instant coffee mix to get a little more coffee flavor next time. I loved the texture. I will definitely make it again and for guests.

  2. How would you make this recipe if you only have a Keurig coffee maker? It sounds delicious!

  3. Susan, all I have is a Keurig and it works great. Mine is a larger one and has 3 settings. I choose the stronger setting. That brews a smaller cup. If you have a single cup Keurig, just add less water than you usually do so the coffee brews stronger. Since you’re only using ⅓ of a cup, you could always add more water to the remaining coffee, reheat in the microwave and enjoy!
    I hope these tips help!
    My best,
