Sandra Lee Cocktail Time Margaritas are available nationwide, retailing at $15.99 a 750-ml. I just bought my second bottle of the Key Lime one, my favorite, at my local Bev Mo. They are amazingly versatile, so you can create all sorts of cocktails using one of them as your base. Be sure to check out the dozens of recipes Sandra Lee has created on their website. Skinny Citrus Sangarita

(NEW RECIPE) You’ll never have to choose between a margarita and sangria again with this super refreshing 2 for 1 cocktail. It’s bursting with fabulous, citrus flavors. It’s so easy to make since it starts with Sandra Lee Cocktail Time Key Lime Margaritas and a bottle of white wine. Each sangarita has 175 calories, 0g fat and 3 Weight Watchers POINTS PLUS and 8 SmartPoints. I first served it to my friends at a 4th of July party. Everyone loved It! It’s sure to become your “go-to” cocktail for the warm days of summer!

Prep Time: 10 minutes


Ingredients

2 cups Cocktail Time Key Lime Margaritas, chilled

1 bottle white wine, use your favorite, chilled

1 cup orange juice, chilled

2 limes, sliced

1 orange, sliced

1 lemon, sliced

*use extra lime, lemon and orange slices for each cocktail, if desired

 

Instructions

1. In a large pitcher, combine the 2 cups margarita, white wine and orange juice.  Mix well. Stir in sliced limes, oranges and lemons.

2. Store in refrigerator until ready to serve. Will keep refrigerated for several days.

3. For each cocktail: Fill each glass with ice. Add about ¾ cup citrus sangarita. Add 1 lime, lemon and/or orange slice, if desired

Makes 7 servings (a little over ¾ cup cocktail plus the ice)
