Ingredients

Ingredients for Coffee:

  • ¾ cup strong brewed coffee, I used Starbucks vanilla for k-cup or use your favorite
  • 2 packages Truvia, Stevia, Splenda, Equal or your favorite sugar substitute
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup fat-free milk

Instructions

  • Brew coffee extra strong. I used a K-Cup and brewed it stronger than normal.
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, whisk together Splenda, water, cinnamon and vanilla until well blended, about 1 minute. Stir in milk and continue to heat over medium heat, stirring until steaming, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Transfer to a blender and process for 20 seconds until foamy. If you don’t have a blender, don’t worry about it. Just whisk the mixture continuously with a wire whisk until foamy.
  • Add ¾ cup hot coffee to mug. Pour foamy milk over the top.
  • Drink immediately. Enjoy!

Notes

Food Facts
Starbucks Skinny Cinnamon Dolce Latte is made with espresso, steamed nonfat milk and sugar-free cinnamon dolce flavored syrup with cinnamon dolce topping and no whipped cream.
Instead of using sugar-free cinnamon dolce flavored syrup, I found that just heating cinnamon, vanilla extract, water and a sugar substitute works great.

  1. Hi! Looks like a great recipe. I’m confused about how the recreated version has so many fewer calories when both use skim milk and both use sugarfree syrup. Does starbucks add something to it (whipped cream? Another topping?) that the lower calorie version does not? Thank you! Love your page.

  2. Good question Laura. I’m not sure of all the ingredients in Starbucks but I think mine is less calories because I’m topping with fat-free whipped cream.
    Enjoy!

  3. In a Starbucks Skinny Cinnamon Dolce Latte, you receive 4 pumps of SF cinnamon Dolce syrup, 2 shots of espresso and approximately 16oz of Non-Fat milk. By creating this yummy masterpiece Nancy’s way, you will save calories because you are using 1/2 cup (4oz) Non-Fat milk vs 16oz. That’s a significant difference. You’ll still get the strong espresso taste we all love (or as close as you can to it), by brewing your K-cup on the stronger setting! Happy sipping!

  4. LOVE this recipe!!!! used almond milk in mine (even fewer smart points for WW)! thanks for this delicious DIY

  5. I’m so glad to have this recipe of my favorite Starbucks beverage. The barista told me this morning that Starbucks has discontinued it and their stores wouldn’t receive any more the the sugar free syrup. Amazon just delivered 6 bags of Cinnamon Dolce coffee and a bottle of sugar free cinnamon dolce syrup.

  6. Nancy, I didn’t know they discontinued this drink. I always make mine at home. It sounds like you are all set now to make it anytime you want.
    Enjoy!
    My best,
    Nancy
