Skinny Tip of the Day

It’s asparagus season and the markets are filled with this wonderful vegetable. To keep it fresh for several days,  cut off the ends and stand upright, unwashed, in a container. Add an inch of cold water, cover spears with a plastic bag and refrigerate. Refresh water as needed.
