Do you prefer dark meat? Great news then…A new study found that a nutrient in dark poultry called taurine may protect against heart disease in women with high cholesterol. Dark meat has more iron, zinc and folate than white. And, an ounce of dark has just 8 more calories than white and 1 more gram of fat. To keep it skinny, don’t forget to remove the skin!
