Healthy Carrot Fries (Air Fryer)

 

These fries come together very quickly and are sooo yummy! I make them all the time. I bet even your kids will love them! Each serving has 99 calories, 3 grams of fat, and 1 Blue WW Freestyle SmartPoints, and 1 Green.

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Bake Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

1 (12 oz) bag carrot sticks (already prepared) or make your own

2 teaspoons olive oil

Salt, to taste

Instructions

1.Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees. If you’re not using already prepared carrot sticks, wash, peel and cut into sticks to create fries. 

2. Add carrot sticks to a bowl and toss in olive oil. Add carrots to the air fryer basket. Spread them out. It’s ok that they overlap. Sprinkle with a little salt. Cook for about 15 minutes, until soft and a bit browned. Be sure to turn them over halfway during cooking. Sprinkle with a little more salt, if desired.

Makes 4 servings. Each serving, 3 ounces.

 

Shopping Tips
Most supermarkets sell prepared bags of carrot sticks. These are already peeled and cut. You’ll usually find them in the produce section where they display bags of shredded carrots and shredded cabbage. I did not use a bag of baby carrots because they don’t look like fries.
