Shopping Tips
I love the flavor of smoked paprika so much more than regular paprika! It smells like BBQ flavors and really enhances the flavor of any recipe that uses paprika. I strongly recommend using it in this recipe. You’ll find it in most supermarkets in the spice aisle. I bought mine at Trader Joe’s. Cooking Tips
This recipe can be doubled, tripled, and so on. You might need to cook in 2 batches depending on the size of your air fryer. They can be baked all at once.Â

Chicken Wings, Air Fryer or Baked (Keto, Paleo, Low Carb)
Ingredients
- 1½ pounds chicken wings with skin
- 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika, see shopping tips below
- 1½ teaspoons garlic powder
- 1½ teaspoons onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- Black pepper
- Bbq sauce and skinny ranch dressing, optional for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees. Rinse wings in cold water. Thoroughly pat dry chicken wings with paper towels and place them in a mixing bowl.
- Drizzle olive oil over wings. Mix seasonings together in a small bowl. Next, sprinkle seasonings all over the chicken. Toss to evenly cover with seasonings.
- Coat air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place wings in the basket. Cook 8 minutes per side, a total of about 16 minutes, or until chicken wings are crisp and golden brown on the outside. I used a larger air fryer. You might need to cook in 2 batches. Place the first batch in a 250-degree oven to keep warm while the other batch is cooking, if desired.
- To Bake in Oven:  Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until crispy, flipping the wings after 30 minutes.
