Here’s the new skinny on storing spices. The email you received and the original post on my Facebook Page was incorrect. Happily the shelf life of most spices is several years, not 6 months!!! To insure the best quality for your recipes, write the date on the containers when you open them. You’ll never have to guess how old they are! You can also check their color. If their color has faded, chances are so has their flavor!
