Low Fat Split Pea Soup Recipe

When we need something that is filling, satisfying and healthy there is nothing better than a hefty pot of soup bubbling on the back burner.  When your family or friends walk through the door the welcoming smell fills your home as you get ready to sit down to a simmering bowl of tender warm goodness!  Better yet, research has shown that if you start your meal with soup you will substantially cut your calorie consumption.  My skinny soups are super simple to make and cook up in no time.  Package these soups in single-serving containers and stockpile a supply in your freezer.  You’ll be ready for anything- a quick meal,  lunches, or those days when your family is eating in shifts.
