Skinny Tip of the Day

Should you warm up or stretch before you walk?
Most people think they should stretch and then walk. But, Prevention Magazine says the best warm-up is simply 5-10 minutes of slower walking. It preps your whole body. Save the stretching for the end of your walk when your muscles and joints are loose. Try to set aside another 5 minutes of slower cool-down walking at the end because stopping abruptly to stretch can make you feel dizzy.

What do you do? Stretch before or after your walk? Please share…
