Cabbage contains a good amount of vitamins C, A and fiber.
Apples are a rich source of flavonoid and polyphenols. Both are powerful antioxidants.
Walnuts are great source of those all-important omega-3 fatty acids.
Cranberries have been valued for their ability to reduce the risk of urinary infections for hundreds of years.
To make this salad easy to prep, buy already shredded bags of cabbage. If you have any leftover cabbage, toss into any type of salad. It adds texture and crunch.
This slaw and dressing can be prepared earlier in the day. To keep this slaw or any slaw from getting soggy, don’t toss in the dressing until ready to serve.
